Hi guys, guess who’s back. It’s Al again y’all. Today’s highlight is Mangrove planting at Santiago. Santiago got greener.

I woke up exactly 5:47, and I found myself answering a call from Alimah, saying where the hell am I, at the same time receiving messages. I immediately jumped out of the bed and rushed into the CR to freshen up, changed my clothes and brushed my teeth. We met Alimah and walked early in the morning going to the Ciudad.
We passed by at 7 eleven and Arbees to buy something to satisfy our hunger. Guro messaged me to meet him and everyone at the Trendline near the Park ‘n go; I think it’s already 6:15 that time when we met at the place where we planned and some of the ERT members were there and the only problem was Yshie hasn’t arrived yet and its already 6:30 am.
Minutes passed and there ya go, the girl who made us late. We arrived at the venue I guess it was already 7 and we got to meet also members from the Centro Entablado and immediately went to the location where the mangroves should be planted Everyone was there, early birds, YBC, equator’s Club and the Sci-wizard.
Every squad took pictures, others were still planting, others had trouble being soaked to the water while others trapped by the sand. After sometime Broddie was beside me, holding the 3pcs. mangroves to be planted. I took his phone and helped him do the planting.
I heard Tracy shouting to have group pictures and immediately went to where the ERT’s are.

After that everyone was going back while I’m still busy taking pictures of myself. Credits to all people who took pictures of me for today’s blog.
It’s always a great feeling to help mother nature. Every simple action could be amplified to greater things.
Years from now, those mangroves will grow so do we, and the good thing is the flash-flood will be minimized because of the investment we did today.
Love, Al
